Browns' David Njoku: Suggests time in Cleveland is up
Njoku (knee) posted on his Instagram account Monday that it is time for him "to find a new home," Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Njoku just completed his ninth season with the Browns, posting a 33-293-4 line on 48 targets over 12 games. His catch, yardage and target totals were his lowest since 2020, due in part to injury (he missed five contests, including the final four of the season) but even more so because of the emergence of rookie TE Harold Fannin (groin). Njoku's contract is scheduled to void upon the start of the 2026 league year, and it sounds like the veteran out of Bowling Green won't be returning to Cleveland. Given the increasing importance of tight ends around the league, though, Njoku could still have multiple suitors in free agency.

Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Earns rookie honors
Schwesinger (ankle) was named the 2025 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Schwesinger had a standout rookie season and quickly became a leader in the middle of Cleveland's defense. He logged 156 total tackles across 16 regular-season games, while also logging 2.5 sacks and two interceptions. Schwesinger missed the final game of the campaign with an ankle injury, but the issue is not expected to affect his preparation for his sophomore year as a pro.

Browns' Myles Garrett: Unanimous DPOY
Garrett was named the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Garrett set the single-season sack record Week 18 against the Bengals, and he ended the season with 23.0 sacks. Given that, it's not particularly surprising that he was unanimously voted as the Defensive Player of the Year, with J.J. Watt the only other player to accomplish the feat. This was Garrett's second time winning the award in his excellent career.
