Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Will play Saturday
Podziemski (abdomen) is available for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Podziemski returned from a 12-game absence Thursday against the Bulls due to a right abdominal strain. He played 21 minutes off the bench in that contest and should have a similar workload in Saturday's Western Conference clash.

Warriors' Gary Payton: Will play Saturday vs. Los Angeles
Payton (illness) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Lakers, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Payton has been cleared to play against the visiting Lakers and will be in the starting lineup alongside Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, Andrew Wiggins and Trayce Jackson-Davis. The veteran guard has been battling an illness this week but hasn't missed any time and will help the Warriors defensively against their division rivals Saturday.

Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Cleared to play vs. LAL
Wiggins (back) is available to play and is in the starting lineup against the Lakers on Saturday, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Wiggins has been working through bilateral lower-back soreness and will play through the injury Saturday. Since the start of January, Wiggins has averaged 18.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals over 30.9 minutes per contest.

Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Not close to return
Head coach Steve Kerr said Saturday that Kuminga is not close to returning from a right ankle sprain that he suffered in early January, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Kuminga suffered a lateral right ankle sprain against the Grizzlies on Jan. 4. He hasn't progressed in his recovery as well as hoped, and Kerr relayed that Kuminga has recently been working on stationary shooting and riding an exercise bike. Moses Moody has been the biggest beneficiary of Kuminga's absence in terms of playing time, and the former should continue to see meaningful minutes off the bench due to the latter's absence.

Warriors' Kyle Anderson: Cleared to play Saturday
Anderson (glute) is not included on the Warriors' injury report for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Before missing the last five games with left gluteal bursitis, Anderson had seen action in each of the Warriors' first seven games of January, averaging 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 18.0 minutes per contest. Though the Warriors will be without Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) and Draymond Green (calf) on Saturday, Anderson may not necessarily be returning to a sizable role in the Golden State frontcourt. During Anderson's recent absence, Gui Santos and Moses Moody have seen elevated playing time and have impressed in their opportunities, so head coach Steve Kerr could elect to prioritize them ahead of a healthy Anderson.

Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Expected to play Saturday
Wiggins (back) is probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Although Wiggins is managing bilateral lower-back soreness, he's expected to suit up for the Warriors in Saturday's showdown against Los Angeles. Across his last nine appearances, the veteran forward has averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 31.3 minutes.

Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Expected to play Saturday
Podziemski (abdomen) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Podziemski had missed 12 games due to a right abdominal strain, but he returned Thursday against the Bulls and finished that game with 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes in a 131-106 win. He's not quite 100 percent healed, but he's progressed enough in his recovery to likely play through it Saturday.

Warriors' Gary Payton: Probable for Saturday
Payton (illness) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Payton has been battling an illness that hasn't kept him off the floor for the Warriors. The veteran guard appears to be trending toward taking the floor Saturday against Los Angeles, which is great news for Golden State and its backcourt.

Warriors' Gui Santos: Scores season-high 19 points
Santos provided 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 27 minutes during Thursday's 131-106 victory over the Bulls.
Santos had one of his most efficient performances of the season and scored in double digits for the fourth time across his last eight outings. The Brazilian has recently experienced a more significant role off the bench and has taken full advantage of the opportunity. Over that eight-game stretch, Santos is averaging 8.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists while logging 21.0 minutes per game.

Warriors' Stephen Curry: Scores 21 points in win
Curry produced 21 points (8-19 FG, 5-12 3Pt), four rebounds and seven assists over 31 minutes during Thursday's 131-106 win over the Bulls.
The Warriors cruised to an easy win over Chicago, and Curry was among the most prolific weapons for Golden State. The star guard, who was named to the 2025 All-Star Game on Thursday, has been consistent of late and is averaging 22.7 points per game while shooting 39.1 percent from beyond the arc over his last six outings.

Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Goes for 10 points in return
Podziemski (abdomen) recorded 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes off the bench Thursday in the Warriors' 131-106 win over the Bulls.
After missing the Warriors' last 12 games due to a right abdominal injury, Podziemski received the green light to return and was one of five bench players to log at least 19 minutes in the win. The Warriors have started Buddy Hield at shooting guard in the past two games, but he provided just three points on 1-for-7 shooting from the field in his 19 minutes and could be phased out to some degree if Golden State wanted to open up more playing time for Podziemski. Before that comes to fruition, however, Podziemski will likely need to show that he can be a more consistent perimeter threat while playing alongside Stephen Curry. Even after the 2-for-4 showing from downtown Thursday, Podziemski is connecting on just 30.3 percent of his three-point attempts for the season.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Drills five triples in blowout win
Post tallied a career-high 20 points (7-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go with five rebounds and three assists across 20 minutes in Thursday's 131-106 win over the Bulls.
A second-round draft pick from Boston College who has spent most of the season in the G League as one of the Warriors' two-way players, Post has emerged as a key bench piece in Golden State's last three contests. Though his prior two appearances came in the final 14 minutes of a 40-point loss to the Celtics on Monday and during a loss to the Kings on Wednesday in which Kevon Looney exited early with an illness, Post entered Thursday's contest while the game was still competitive. He first subbed in for Looney with 3:47 remaining in the first quarter, and after drilling a three-pointer and assisting on an Andrew Wiggins dunk, he stayed in the game to begin the second quarter. Though he picked up four fouls in his 20 minutes, Post impressed with his perimeter shooting and passing skills, and head coach Steve Kerr said after the game that the improvements the rookie has shown in defending the pick-and-roll since the season started have increased the Warriors' comfort in playing him, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. While Draymond Green (calf) and Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) remain out and with uncertain return timelines, Post looks as though he could stick in the rotation. However, Thursday's game probably represents the higher end of what he can provide.

Warriors' Kevon Looney: Moving back to bench role
Looney is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Looney exited Wednesday's contest against the Kings due to an illness, and while he's good to go Thursday, he'll return to his regular bench role. The big man is averaging 5.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest across his 31 appearances off the bench this season.

Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Moving to starting role
Jackson-Davis is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Jackson-Davis will return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in Golden State's previous contest. The big man is averaging 7.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game across 11 appearances this month.

Warriors' Gary Payton: Will play against Chicago
Payton (illness) has been upgraded to available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
Payton's status was uncertain ahead of Thursday's game against the Bulls, but he's been cleared to play. The veteran guard performed well in Wednesday's loss to the Kings, finishing with eight points, six rebounds, and an assist in 13 minutes for the Warriors.

Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Available vs. Chicago
Jackson-Davis (ankle) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson-Davis came off the bench in the last game against the Kings on Wednesday but finished with 11 points and eight rebounds across 24 minutes, so it wouldn't be surprising if he returns to the first unit here. The second-year big man is averaging 8.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game across 42 appearances (34 starts) in 2024-25.

Warriors' Lindy Waters: Will play Thursday
Waters (shoulder) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
Waters was one of several players who were questionable for the Warriors ahead of this matchup, but in the end, he'll be available and should see steady minutes off the bench. Waters is averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game in 10 outings this month.
