  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Fourth shortie in last nine games

Trocheck scored a goal Thursday in a 4-0 win over the Lightning.

Trocheck scored a shorthanded goal on a give-and-go with J.T. Miller just 1:02 into the second period that stood as the winner. It was Trochek's fourth short-handed goal in the past nine games and sixth this season. That put him in a tie for the NHL lead with Alex Tuch of the Sabres. Trochek finished the season on a five-game, seven-point scoring streak (four goals, three assists). Overall, Trocheck recorded 26 goals, 33 assists, 214 hits, 202 shots and 78 blocks this season.

  • Rangers' Chris Kreider: Finishes on upswing

Kreider had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Kreider made it 2-0 at 4:02 of the third period with a shot over Jonas Johansson's glove from between the circles. He finished the season with back-to-back two-point games, but they were his first since Oct. 19. Kreider finished the season with 22 goals and eight assists in 68 games in 2024-25. He turns 34 on April 30, and he has two years left on his seven-year, $45.5 million contract that includes a 15-team no-trade list. The Rangers will undoubtedly kick the tires on a potential deal for Kreider, especially with limited cap space and contracts due to K'Andre Miller and Will Cuylle. It remains to be seen if the winger can rebound -- his 22 goals this year are a far cry from his last three seasons of 52, 36 and 39, respectively.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Finishes with sixth shutout

Shesterkin made 27 saves in a 4-0 win over the Lightning on Thursday.

It was his sixth shutout of the season. Shesterkin didn't play up to his usual standards this season, but much of that came from playing behind a squad that dropped from 114 points and a Presidents' Trophy in 2023-24 to 85 points and missing the playoffs. Shesterkin will be looking to exact revenge in 2025-26, so there's no need to drop him down fantasy draft lists.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Hits 20 goals eighth straight time

Zibanejad scored two goals and added an assist in Thursday's 4-0 win over Tampa Bay.

The goals pushed him to 20 on the season. It's the eighth straight season that Zibanejad has hit that mark. He turns 32 on Friday, but his so-called decline (62 points) seems situational. The Rangers were a bad team this year, and that impacted just about every member of the team. That means he could drop a few rounds during next year's fantasy drafts. Zibanejad is coming off a string of three seasons of 81, 91 and 72 points, respectively. That talent doesn't simply dry up with a player like Zibanejad, who is just 32 years old.

  • Rangers' Carson Soucy: Unavailable Thursday

Soucy (illness) will miss Thursday's season finale against the Lightning, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.

Soucy will close out the season with four goals, 13 points, 46 PIM, 115 hits and 106 blocks in 75 outings between Vancouver and the Rangers. He's in the second season of a three-year, $9.75 million contract, so he's set to be back with New York for 2025-26.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting final game of season

Shesterkin will be between the pipes versus Tampa Bay on Thursday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.

Shesterkin will likely face a depleted Lightning team as Tampa Bay is locked in to second place in the Atlantic Division and will host Florida in Game 1 of the opening round of the playoffs. Shesterkin is 26-29-5 with five shutouts, a 2.91 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 60 outings this season. Despite having the worst season statistically in his NHL career, Shesterkin was stellar most of the season and kept the Rangers in playoff contention. Shesterkin should be drafted among the top goaltenders in fantasy drafts ahead of the 2025-26 season.

  • Rangers' Zac Jones: Ending year in part-time role

Jones suited up for the third time in nine games in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Jones wasn't able to maintain consistent playing time in 2024-25, though he had some extended runs in the lineup when the Rangers dealt with injuries. He's produced 11 points, 50 shots on net, 43 blocked shots, 28 hits and 24 PIM over 45 appearances. He'll be a restricted free agent this summer, but the Rangers already have five blueliners under contract with Jones and K'Andre Miller in need of new deals, so Jones may not be able to carve out much more ice time in 2025-26.

  • Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Earns two assists Monday

Miller recorded two assists, two shots on goal, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-1 rating in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Miller remains hot to close out the campaign -- he has two goals and six assists over his last nine outings. That's helped him get his offense back on track, with a total of 26 points over 73 contests this season. He's added 109 shots on net, 106 hits, 108 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating to offer some all-around appeal as usual in fantasy.

  • Rangers' Chris Kreider: Two helpers in Monday's win

Kreider provided two assists in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Playmaking has not been much of a thing for Kreider this year -- this was his first multi-assist effort of the campaign. He's produced three goals and three assists over his last 12 outings despite seeing bottom-six minutes for much of that stretch. The winger is at 21 goals, seven helpers, 151 shots on net, 79 hits and a minus-8 rating through 67 appearances.

  • Rangers' Jonny Brodzinski: Adds insurance tally

Brodzinski scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Brodzinski has scored five times and added an assist over his last 12 contests. The 31-year-old has held a spot in the lineup regularly since the start of February, and he's been a versatile veteran forward. He's matched his career high of 19 points from last year while adding 73 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-6 rating through 50 appearances.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Pots shorthanded game-winner

Trocheck scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Trocheck converted on a feed from J.T. Miller to give the Rangers their first lead of the game at 3:40 of the third period. That goal held as the game-winner, which gave Trocheck a career-high six game-winning tallies this year. He's up to 25 goals, 58 points, 200 shots on net, 214 hits, 78 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 81 appearances. He's also earned 12 power-play points and six shorthanded points.

  • Rangers' Matt Rempe: Two points against Panthers

Rempe produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-3 win over Florida.

The rugged winger got the Rangers on the board midway through the first period, then helped set up Jonny Brodzinski for the team's final tally late in the third. It was Rempe's first multi-point performance of the season, and the 22-year-old has seen more consistent shifts in April as New York officially dropped out of the playoff race. Over his five appearances this month, Rempe has averaged 11:10 in ice time while delivering one goal, three points, four PIM and 12 hits.

  • Rangers' Juuso Parssinen: Two-point effort Monday

Parssinen picked up a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

The 24-year-old has been getting more consistent ice time since the Rangers were eliminated from the playoffs, and Parssinen has responded by erupting for two goals and five points over the last three games despite a bottom-six assignment and zero shifts on the power play. New York will likely undergo a significant roster overhaul this offseason, but Parssinen is making his case to stick around.

  • Rangers' J.T. Miller: Two points against Florida

Miller scored an even-strength goal and added a shorthanded assist in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

After tying the game at 3-3 late in the second period, Miller set up Vincent Trocheck for the game-winner early in the third. Miller is going down swinging on a disappointing season for the Blueshirts, finding the scoresheet in 10 of the last 11 games -- including three straight multi-point performances -- while racking up six goals and 16 points.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Collects win Monday

Quick made 27 saves in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Florida grabbed leads in the first and second periods, only for the Rangers to tie it up before the intermission, and then Quick shut the door in the final frame. The 39-year-old netminder sports an 11-7-2 record on the season with a 3.17 GAA and an .893 save percentage, and with one affordable year left on his contract at $1.55 million, Quick seems set to return as Igor Shesterkin's understudy in 2025-26.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Starting against Florida

Quick will defend the road crease against Florida on Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Quick will make his fifth appearance since the 4 Nations break, and he's gone 2-2-0 with a 3.57 GAA and an .875 save percentage over his last four outings. The Panthers rank 13th in the NHL with 3.03 goals per game this season.
