Flyers' Adam Ginning: Optioned to minors
Ginning was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.
Ginning was recalled from the minors Friday, but he'll return to the minors following a brief stint with the Flyers. The 2018 second-round pick's demotion might be an indication that Jamie Drysdale (upper body) will be ready for Wednesday's game against the Sabres. Ginning has a goal, three points, 12 PIM and a minus-2 rating across 17 outings with the Phantoms in 2025-26.

Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Nearing return to lineup
Drysdale (upper body) might be ready to return against Buffalo on Wednesday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Drysdale remains on injured reserve for now, but he has been practicing and could return from a three-game absence soon. He has generated three goals, 18 points, 45 shots on net and 41 blocked shots across 41 appearances this season.

Flyers' Bobby Brink: Might play Wednesday
Head coach Rick Tocchet said Tuesday that Brink (upper body) is a possibility to play Wednesday in Buffalo, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.
Brink has missed the last three games due to his upper-body injury after getting injured in last Tuesday's contest against Anaheim. He should slot back into a middle-six role once he's given the green light to return to the lineup.

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Can use a little help from friends
Vladar made 21 saves on 25 shots in a 5-1 loss to the Lightning on Monday. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Vladar played well, but his team was still shaken from Saturday's 7-2 loss to Bolts. It was his first regulation loss since Dec. 28, and he'd gone 3-0-1 in his next four contests. Vladar has been a very pleasant surprise for the Flyers. He's 16-7-4 with a 2.42 GAA and .907 save percentage in 27 starts this season, and he's already set a career mark for wins.

Flyers' Christian Dvorak: On career pace
Dvorak scored his 10th goal of the season in a 5-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Monday.
Dvorak has four points (one goal, three assists) during a season-best four-game point streak. Overall, he has 29 points and 86 shots this season, and he's on pace to obliterate his career mark of 38 points, which was set in 2019-20. Dvorak could hit 50 points this season, and there's always room for a guy like him in deep formats. Remember he won't deliver much else, as he simply doesn't get enough exposure to the power play.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: In lineup Monday
Konecny (knee) is available for Monday's home matchup versus the Lightning, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.
Konecny will return to the lineup after missing his first game of the season Saturday against Tampa Bay. He was a game-time call heading into Monday's contest after being hit in the knee with a puck during Sunday's practice, but he'll slot back onto the first line alongside Trevor Zegras and Christian Dvorak. Due to Konecny's return, Matvei Michkov will revert to a third-line role.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Game-time decision
Konecny (knee) will be a game-time decision against Tampa Bay on Monday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Konecny participated in Monday's optional morning skate after leaving Sunday's session early. He took a puck off his knee at Sunday's skate that hit a nerve, and he missed Saturday's 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay because of an upper-body injury. Konecny has compiled 14 goals, 38 points, 97 shots on net and 54 hits across 42 appearances this season. Matvei Michkov might remain on the top line against the Lightning on Monday if Konecny misses another game.

Flyers' Dan Vladar: In goal against Bolts
Vladar will get the starting nod at home versus Tampa Bay on Monday.
Vladar is undefeated in regulation over his last four contests, going 3-0-1 with nine goals allowed on 101 shots. Given his current pace, the 28-year-old should push for the 30-win threshold this year, which would be a huge improvement considering he has never reached the 20-win mark in his six-year NHL career.

Flyers' Bobby Brink: Won't play Monday
Brink (upper body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lightning, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Brink was on the ice for Monday's morning skate, but he hasn't yet been cleared to return to game action and will be forced to miss a third consecutive matchup. His next opportunity to suit up will be Wednesday in Buffalo, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to do so.

Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Present for Monday's morning skate
Grundstrom (illness) was on the ice for morning skate ahead of Monday's game against the Lightning, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Grundstrom was absent from Sunday's practice session due to an illness, but he returned to the ice a day later and should be available for Monday's matchup. Across his last 16 appearances, Grundstrom has recorded seven goals, an assist, 48 hits, 10 blocked shots and eight PIM while averaging 13:14 of ice time.

Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Misses practice
Grundstrom (illness) was not at practice Sunday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The Flyers are next in action Monday against the Lightning, and it remains to be seen if Grundstrom will be forced to miss that game with his ailment. The 28-year-old has seven goals, one assist, 50 hits and 11 blocked shots in 17 games this season.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Exits Sunday's practice
Konecny left Sunday's practice early after taking a puck to his knee, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Konecny sported a regular jersey during Sunday's session, indicating he might have been an option to return for Monday's game against Tampa Bay. He missed Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Lightning because of an upper-body injury. The Flyers will determine his availability after Monday's pregame session.

Flyers' Noah Juulsen: Pockets assist in loss
Juulsen provided an assist, four hits and three blocked shots in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Lightning.
Juulsen logged a helper on Garnet Hathaway's goal in the first period. Juulsen has made four appearances in the Flyers' last 13 games, though he should have a short-term path to playing time while Jamie Drysdale (upper body) is on injured reserve. Juulsen is at six points, 19 shots on net, 62 hits, 22 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 30 outings this season.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Gets second power-play snipe
Tippett scored a power-play goal Saturday in a 7-2 loss to the Lightning.
Tippett has 14 goals this season, and barring catastrophe, he'll deliver his fourth-straight 20-goal and second career 50-point regular season. Two of his goals have come on the power play. Tippett is a pure goal scorer who works well in traffic and off the rush. However, his fantasy value is hampered by his below-average hockey IQ and limited playmaking ability. Overall, Tippett has 14 goals, 12 assists and 106 shots.

Flyers' Garnet Hathaway: Finally gets first goal of season
Hathaway scored a goal Saturday in a 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
Hathaway got a monkey off his back Saturday with his first goal and point of the 2025-26 season. It took 37 outings. He spent several games in the press box in December, and it clearly gave him some perspective. Hathaway has 19 PIM, 20 hits, six blocks and is plus-three in four games since he got back in the lineup. Those bruise categories may help if you can afford to deploy such a one-dimensional player.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Swarmed by killer bees
Ersson made 16 saves in a 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Ersson was swarmed by killer bees Saturday, and his coach wasn't about to bail him out. He has lost two straight games with 12 goals allowed over that span. He's also 1-4-2 in his last seven (27 goals allowed). Ersson, who is 6-6-4 with a 3.33 GAA and an .858 save percentage in 16 starts, is going to continue to take a back seat to Dan Vladar, whose 16-6-4 record, 2.35 GAA and .910 save percentage are stellar.
