Mavericks' Melvin Ajinca: Still out vs. Orlando
Ajinca (groin) won't play in Friday's Summer League game against the Magic, Noah Weber of TheSmokingCuban.com reports.
A groin injury will cost Ajinca a fifth consecutive contest Friday, and he's yet to appear this summer. With the Summer League close to wrapping up, it wouldn't be shocking if the 21-year-old forward didn't suit up for the rest of the exhibition action.

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: No-go Wednesday
Nembhard has been ruled out of Wednesday's Summer League game against Philadelphia for undisclosed reasons, Noah Weber of TheSmokingCuban.com reports,

Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Undergoes foot surgery
Lively underwent surgery Tuesday to clean up bone spurs in his right foot, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Charania reports that Lively is expected to be ready for training camp, though this is an unfortunate setback for him as it could mess up his offseason training regimen. Lively was limited to 36 regular-season games in 2024-25 in which he posted averages of 8.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 blocks in 23.1 minutes. With Anthony Davis likely to play some center and Daniel Gafford fresh off a contract extension, there is quite a logjam in Dallas' frontcourt.

The Auburn product joined the Mavericks on a two-way contract after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft. He averaged 11.3 points while shooting 40.6 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three over 38 games during the 2024-25 season.

Mavericks' Cooper Flagg: Monster performance in SL loss

Flagg bounced back from a subpar Summer League debut in the scoring department Thursday against the Lakers, where he tallied 10 points on just 23.8 percent shooting, by posting a game-high 31 points on 47.6 percent shooting Saturday against the Spurs. The No. 1 overall pick out of Duke in the 2025 NBA Draft has the tools to become a two-way star, and it will be worth monitoring how many more games he appears in this summer before the team opts to shut him down.
