  • Jets' David Gustafsson: Supplies assist Wednesday

Gustafsson recorded an assist in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

The helper was Gustafsson's first point of the season. The 24-year-old has played in 17 games, adding 16 shots on net, 13 hits, nine blocked shots, seven PIM and a plus-1 rating. When the Jets are at full health, he might be at risk of sitting out as a healthy scratch, but he should be safe to handle bottom-six minutes while Adam Lowry (upper body) is out of action.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Two helpers in overtime win

Namestnikov notched two assists, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Namestnikov helped out on Gabriel Vilardi's go-ahead goal in the second period and Neal Pionk's overtime winner. This was Namestnikov's second game back from missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old center has been limited to three helpers over nine outings since the holiday break. He's at 22 points, 46 shots on net, 56 hits, 31 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 45 appearances. Adam Lowry (upper body) is on injured reserve, so Namestnikov is likely to remain on the second line for a while.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Dishes pair of assists

Morrissey provided two assists and four shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Morrissey assisted on second-period tallies by Morgan Barron and Gabriel Vilardi. This was Morrissey's first multi-point effort since Jan. 2 versus the Ducks, but he still put up four points over the eight contests in between. The star defenseman is at five goals, 37 helpers, 103 shots on net, 72 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating across 49 outings.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Pots goal Wednesday

Barron scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Barron ended a six-game point drought with a tally that tied the game at 1-1 midway through the second period. The 26-year-old forward might have been at risk of losing playing time with Mason Appleton (lower body) back in action Wednesday, but Adam Lowry (upper body) landed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. That likely means Barron's fourth-line spot is safe for now unless the Jets want to give Dominic Toninato a look. Barron has been limited to five goals, three assists, 60 shots on net, 78 hits, 31 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 49 appearances.

  • Jets' Neal Pionk: Rips in game-winner

Pionk scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Pionk got open on the Jets' first rush of overtime and unleashed a slap shot from the circles to beat Mackenzie Blackwood 17 seconds into the extra session. With five points over his last 11 outings, Pionk remains steady on offense while adding physicality in a top-four role. For the season, the 29-year-old defenseman is at seven goals, 31 points, 78 shots on net, 75 hits, 77 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 49 appearances.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Secures 20-goal season

Vilardi scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Vilardi had to wait a while, but he snapped a six-game goal drought Wednesday to earn his third straight 20-goal campaign. It took him 49 contests to get to that mark after scoring 22 times in 47 appearances last year. Vilardi also has a career-high 42 points this season while adding 92 shots on net and a plus-3 rating. the 25-year-old has mostly played on the top line, but he was shuffled down to the second line for this game, swapping spots with Alex Iafallo.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Earns overtime win

Hellebuyck stopped 25 of 27 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Hellebuyck allowed the tying goal to Cale Makar in the third period, but Neal Pionk replied with the game-winner 17 seconds into overtime. This was Hellebuyck's fifth win in his last six starts, and he's allowed two or fewer goals in all of the victories in that span. He's now 29-7-2 with a 2.02 GAA and a .927 save percentage over 38 starts. The 31-year-old netminder has a good chance of challenging his career high of 44 wins from the 2017-18 campaign.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine versus Avalanche

Hellebuyck will protect the road goal versus the Avalanche on Wednesday, Murat Ares of The Athletic reports.

Hellebuyck saw his four-game winning streak end when he allowed four goals on 27 shots to Utah on Monday in a 5-2 loss. The 31-year-old will look to get back on track against the Avalanche, a team he shut out Jan. 11 with a 22-save performance, which was his league-leading sixth shutout of the campaign.

  • Jets' Haydn Fleury: Set to return Wednesday

Fleury (lower body) is expected to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Avalanche.

Fleury has missed the last 12 games due to a lower-body injury, but he's been trending in the right direction in recent days and should be back on the ice Wednesday. Over 25 appearances this season, he's racked up six assists, 44 blocked shots, 31 hits, four PIM and a minus-7 rating while averaging 17:14 of ice time. Adam Lowry (upper body) was placed on injured reserve to help make room on the active roster.

  • Jets' Mason Appleton: Slated to return Wednesday

Appleton (lower body) is expected to be activated off injured reserve and play Wednesday versus Colorado.

Appleton last played Dec. 28. He has six goals, 15 points, 35 hits and 20 blocks in 37 appearances in 2024-25. Appleton is projected to serve on the fourth line alongside Morgan Barron and David Gustafsson. Adam Lowry will exit the lineup due to an upper-body injury.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Designated for IR

Lowry (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site.

Considering Lowry was deemed week-to-week by head coach Scott Arniel on Wednesday, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him landing on injured reserve. Additionally, the extra roster spot will allow the Jets to activate Mason Appleton (lower body) off IR ahead of Wednesday's clash with Colorado.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Is week-to-week

Lowry (upper body) is week-to-week, coach Scott Arniel told Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press on Wednesday.

Lowry left Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah because of the injury. He has 11 goals, 26 points, 88 hits and 41 blocks in 48 appearances in 2024-25. The loss of Lowry might be partially offset by Mason Appleton (lower body), who is close to returning and might draw into the lineup Wednesday.

  • Jets' Dylan Samberg: Deals helper in loss

Samberg notched an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

Samberg has picked up two assists, 12 shots on net and 11 blocks over six outings since he returned from a broken foot. The 25-year-old has resumed his role on the second pairing, but he isn't likely to be a big contributor on offense. For the season, Samberg has eight points, 39 shots, 41 blocks, 27 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-13 rating through 27 appearances, offering a little bit of all-around coverage.

  • Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Assists on both goals in loss

Ehlers provided a pair of assists and two shots on goal in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

Ehlers has three goals and five assists over nine outings in January. The 28-year-old winger had a hand in both of the Jets' goals Monday, scored by Nino Niederreiter and Dylan DeMelo. Ehlers is up to 40 points, 100 shots on net and a plus-6 rating over 39 appearances in a second-line role.

  • Jets' Dylan DeMelo: Scores in loss Monday

DeMelo scored a goal while adding four shots, a hit and three blocked shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

DeMelo isn't known for being much of a fantasy contributor despite playing in the Jets' first defensive pairing. He has just 10 points through 48 games, and the fact that two of his three goals have come over his last three appearances suggests he's not going to score regularly going forward. He does bring a lot of physicality to the table, as he's racked up 82 hits and 59 blocked shots thus far.

  • Jets' Nino Niederreiter: Scores in loss to Utah

Niederreiter had a goal, two shots and two hits in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

Niederreiter scored for the second time across his last four games, and while he's not known for being a scoring force, it's undeniable that he's going through his most productive stretch of the season. The 32-year-old has six points (three goals, three assists) in nine games since the beginning of January, which is impressive given that he's tallied 26 total points across 48 games this season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Sizzling streak ends Monday

Hellebuyck stopped 23 of 27 shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah. The fifth goal was an empty-netter with 2:05 left in the third period.

Hellebuyck entered this game having gone 4-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .957 save percentage over his previous four starts, so he was bound to experience some kind of regression sooner rather than later. Even the best netminders have poor outings from time to time, and the 31-year-old is still one of the league's top goaltenders with a 28-7-2 record, 2.02 GAA and .927 save percentage through 37 appearances. Fantasy managers should continue to trust him every time he's guarding the Jets crease.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Exits Monday's game in Utah early

Lowry sustained an undisclosed injury in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.

Lowry was injured in the first period and did not play in the final two frames of Monday's loss. Head coach Scott Arniel didn't have an update on Lowry's health, so the Winnipeg captain's status is in question for Wednesday's road game against Colorado. Lowry will most likely be further evaluated by the Jets' medical staff Tuesday. The 31-year-old has provided 11 goals, 26 points and a plus-17 rating through 48 outings in 2024-25.
